Overview

Kramer's VP-550X deftly scales multiple source videos to or from 4K@60 and outputs the resulting AV signal through a pair of mirrored HDMI outputs simultaneously.  The embedded audio is also sent to a single balanced stereo output independent of the HDMI stream. 

7 HDMI and 1 USB–C ports provide input for 4K@60 (4:4:4) video sources to be passed or scaled down to the outputs, while VGA and composite video signals can be input via their respective connections.  An analog audio input presents the option to add to the embedded audio track, and a microphone input allows for layering a voice over. 

Professional features for video enhancement include selectable aspect ratios, color, hue, sharpness, noise, contrast, and brightness controls allowing the output signal to be tailored to the application.  The VP-550X also offers powerful audio features with integrated EQ, mixing, delay, and more.
