The Pure Resonance Audio SP8 SoundPlane is a full-range 8" lay-in ceiling tile speaker designed to drop into a standard 2'x2' suspended grid ceiling without cutting holes or modifying tiles. Its low-profile depth of just 3.9" allows installation in tight ceiling spaces where deeper speakers cannot fit, and it provides approximately 400 sq ft of audio coverage from a single unit.

Built with an 8" treated paper cone driver and a secondary high-frequency cone, the SP8 delivers clear sound for voice, music, sound masking, and paging applications. The fully enclosed steel back-can includes integrated seismic safety strap tabs, and the solid white panel with perforated grille blends seamlessly with acoustic ceiling tiles.

Ideal for commercial distributed audio installations such as offices, retail stores, restaurants, schools, and hospitality venues, the SP8 features a built-in adjustable 70V 10-watt transformer for flexible system integration.
