Stem Audio CEILING 100-Microphone array
Overview
Add a ceiling microphone array to your conferencing system to free your tables of microphones using the Stem Audio Ceiling. The circular Ceiling can be mounted in a chandelier-style hanging position with the included suspension kit, or it can be mounted flush to your drop ceiling using the included ceiling tile. It can be used as a standalone device for audio streaming, IoT (Internet of Things), or SIP (Telephony), or it can be used alongside a Stem Audio Hub and other devices in the Stem Audio system.
The Ceiling features a 100-microphone array with wide, medium, and narrow pickup beam options that can be adjusted remotely from the separately available Control device. The microphones feature noise cancellation, echo-cancelling, and de-reverb to ensure clear audio transmission. The RJ45 Ethernet connector allows you to connect to your local network and it also provides power to the Ceiling using PoE (Power-over-Ethernet).
There are also LED lights around the device that light up to highlight the direction of where the audio is coming from. The Ceiling also features a USB Type-B connector that allows you to connect to a Windows, Mac, or Linux computer for video conferencing, and it is compatible with just about any audio or video streaming site such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and others.
The Ceiling includes a 12' USB Type-B to Type-A cable, a 15' Cat 6 Ethernet cable, a metal ceiling tile measuring 2' square, and a suspension kit with a 120" cable. The device relies on PoE for power so a compatible switch or PoE injector is required for purchase separately.
