# Title: Chief Speed-Connect 6-to-9" Adjustable Extension Column (CMS006009)

## Description: The Chief Speed-Connect CMS006009 is an adjustable extension column designed to position a ceiling-mounted projector with precise drop flexibility from 6 to 9 inches. It is built for compatibility with Chief Speed-Connect ceiling systems, making it a practical choice for conference rooms, classrooms, houses of worship, and other AV installations where exact projector height matters. Compared to fixed-length columns, this adjustable design helps simplify projector alignment and reduce the need to order multiple extension sizes. Adjustable 6 to 9 inch extension range for fine-tuning projector mounting height Designed for use with Chief Speed-Connect ceiling projector mount systems Supports cleaner installation planning when ceiling height or sightline requirements vary Useful for short throw projector and standard projector setups that require precise image positioning Well suited for commercial AV, education, hospitality, and training environments Unlike improvised spacers or non-matching hardware, an extension column made for the mounting system helps maintain a more secure, professional installation. This is especially useful when integrating a 4K projector or laser projector, where small alignment changes can affect image geometry and screen fit. For installers and facility managers, the CMS006009 provides a straightforward way to adjust projector drop in real-world scenarios such as suspended ceilings, low-clearance rooms, or retrofit upgrades. Chief is widely specified in professional AV installations, which makes this component a reliable fit for projects that prioritize compatibility, serviceability, and clean cable-managed results.
